A laundry room works when the machines are hidden, the ironing board has a home, and you still have a surface to fold on. Most Dubai laundry rooms are narrow and awkward. That is a joinery problem, and it is solvable.

The three things a laundry room has to do

House the machines properly

Stacked washer and dryer in a tall housing recovers the floor area a side-by-side pair wastes. The housing needs a ventilation gap and access to the isolator.

Give you a folding surface

A worktop at counter height, even 900mm of it, changes how the room is used. Without one, laundry gets folded on a bed in another room.

Store what actually lives there

Detergent, the iron, the board, the vacuum, spare linen. Each has a different shape and most people never plan for the tall awkward ones.

What we build

Appliance housings

Full-height cabinetry with the washer and dryer stacked and enclosed behind doors. We build in the ventilation gap and keep the isolator reachable — an appliance you cannot switch off without moving it is a problem waiting to happen.

Worktops and base runs

A continuous surface over base cabinets, wrapping the corner where the room allows. Drawers below rather than doors, because you are usually reaching into them with your hands full.

Pull-out racks and tall storage

Pull-out drying racks, shoe racks and slim vertical pull-outs for the ironing board and vacuum. In a narrow room these are worth more than another cupboard, because they use the depth you cannot otherwise reach into.

Open shelving

LED-lit open shelving above the worktop for the things you use daily. Everything used weekly or less goes behind a door.

Materials and finishes

Painted fronts in high-quality PU paint at a 10% gloss level.
Carcasses and internals in walnut Egger board with a soft edge lipping finish.

A laundry room is a wet room in everything but name. Sealed edges matter here for the same reason they matter in a bathroom, and we build to the same specification.

Planning the room

Before we quote we need to know:

The machines

Exact models. Depths vary by 100mm between brands and that decides whether doors will close.

Stacked or side by side

Stacking needs a bracket kit and enough height. In most Dubai laundry rooms it is the right answer.

Where the water, waste and power are

Moving them is possible but it is plumbing and electrical work, quoted separately.

Ventilation

A condenser dryer in a sealed room with no air movement will not dry efficiently.

Utility next to the bathrooms

In many Dubai villas the laundry sits next to the bathrooms and shares the same wet-area constraints. Where that is the case we build both to the same specification, so the finish and the hardware match and the whole run is specified once.

How long it takes

Three to five weeks from sign-off. Installation is typically two to three days.

Common questions

Can you fit a laundry into a very narrow room?

Usually. Narrow rooms are won with depth — pull-outs, stacked appliances and a wrapped corner worktop. Send us the room dimensions and we will tell you honestly what fits.

Can the machines be hidden completely?

Yes, behind full-height doors, with ventilation and isolator access built in.

Do you supply the appliances?

No. You buy them, we build around the exact models. That way you are not paying a margin on a machine you could buy yourself.
