A bathroom fit-out in Dubai is the complete renovation of a bathroom — demolition, waterproofing, tiling, vanity joinery, plumbing, electrics and finishing — delivered as one project by a single contractor. Al Khalaq has built bathroom joinery from its own workshop in Al Barsha, Dubai since 2017, with more than 300 projects completed. A vanity unit takes about one week; a full bathroom renovation takes longer depending on tiling and whether plumbing positions move.

Materials and finishes we work in

In a humid climate the specification decides whether a bathroom still looks right in five years. This is where cutting cost shows fastest.

Bathroom Fit-Out questions, answered

How long does a bathroom fit-out take?

About one week on site for a vanity unit. A full bathroom renovation takes longer — the variables are the extent of tiling, whether plumbing positions move, and material lead times. We give you a schedule with the quote, not after you have signed.

How much does a bathroom renovation cost in Dubai?

Cost depends on the size of the room, the countertop material, the extent of joinery and tiling, and whether plumbing positions move — moving plumbing costs considerably more than working with existing positions. We price each project after a site visit and issue an itemised quote.

Can I stay in the property during the work?

Usually yes, provided there is another working bathroom. We seal off the work area, run extraction, and clear the access route at the end of each day.

Do you supply the sanitaryware?

Either. We can supply everything, or install pieces you have chosen yourself. Many clients pick their own brassware and let us handle the rest.

Why does the board material matter in a bathroom?

Standard MDF absorbs moisture and swells, which is why cheap vanities fail at the base within a couple of years. We use moisture-resistant MDF or marine-grade plywood in every wet area as standard, not as an upgrade.

Do I need an NOC in Dubai?

Most Dubai buildings and communities require a No Objection Certificate from the developer or owners' association before work begins, particularly where plumbing or electrics are altered. We prepare and submit that documentation as part of the project.

What warranty do you provide?

We provide a 1-year warranty on every item we supply and install — joinery, cabinetry, finishes and installation. Appliances and sanitaryware also carry their own manufacturer warranty.

Do you work outside Dubai?

Yes. We work across Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Our workshop is in Al Barsha, so Dubai projects are usually the quickest to schedule.
