Standard cabinets assume standard walls. Dubai apartments and villas rarely have them — columns, service risers, sloped ceilings and odd recesses are normal.
Custom cabinetry is measured on site and built to fill the space properly, using the awkward corners instead of leaving them empty.

Most single units take one to two weeks from final measurement. Larger runs or full-room joinery take two to four weeks. A written completion date is agreed before work begins.
Cabinetry usually means the individual storage pieces – display units, sideboards, consoles. Joinery is the wider category covering wardrobes, kitchens, doors, panelling and staircases. Al Khalaq makes both.
