Bathroom joinery is a harder job than it looks. It needs moisture-appropriate substrates, properly sealed edges and hardware that survives a Dubai summer. A vanity built like a bedroom cabinet will swell at the base within two years. Ours are built for the room they go in.
Three things, and cheap vanities skip all of them:
None of this is visible when the vanity is new. All of it decides whether it still looks right in year three.
Nothing touches the floor, so the floor cleans in one pass and the base never sits in standing water. Needs proper fixing into the wall structure, which we verify before quoting. This is what we recommend in almost every case.
More storage and no wall-fixing constraints. Where a client prefers this, we raise the carcass on a sealed plinth so the board itself is never in contact with the floor.
Solid-surface counters with the basin formed as part of the top — no rim, no silicone joint, nothing to discolour. This is the detail that keeps a bathroom looking clean rather than merely being clean.
Full-width mirrors, recessed glass shelving and concealed storage, lit so the light falls on your face rather than behind it. A mirror lit from above and behind gives you a silhouette; lighting at face height is what you actually want.
To be clear about terminology: the Egger board line applies to the joinery. Stone tops and solid-surface basins are different materials entirely, quoted separately.
The small room every guest uses. A compact vanity that still feels like the rest of the house does more for how a home reads than most people expect. The constraint is footprint, not standard — we build powder room joinery to the same specification as the main bathrooms.
Three to five weeks from sign-off, depending on finish. Installation is usually one to two days for a vanity, longer where stone tops are templated separately after the carcass is fitted.
If it is built on the right substrate with properly sealed edges and decent hardware, yes. If any of those three are cut, no. That is the entire answer, and it is why quotations differ.
Almost always. We measure the waste and feed positions on site and design the internals around them.
Yes. Bring us a tile sample or a photograph. Matching PU paint to a tile tone is straightforward.
We measure on site, anywhere in Dubai, and give you a fixed itemised quotation. Both are free, and there is no obligation to go ahead.
