Al Khalaq Technical LLC, an interior fit-out and bespoke joinery company holding a UAE trade licence and operating in Dubai. We run our own joinery workshop, so the company that quotes your job is the company that builds it.

Measuring and quoting are free, anywhere in Dubai. There is no charge for a site visit and no obligation to proceed.

We measure on site before we quote. Anyone who gives you a price for made-to-measure joinery without measuring is guessing, and we would rather not be that company.

You receive a fixed, itemised quotation — not an allowance that moves later. It states what is included. If something is not written in it, it is not in the price, and you should ask us before signing rather than assume.

A quotation is valid for the period stated on it. Material and hardware costs move, and we would rather re-quote honestly than hold a price we can no longer build to.

Unless your quotation says otherwise:

• Painted fronts are finished in high-quality PU paint at a 10% gloss level.
• Carcasses and internals are walnut Egger board with a soft edge lipping finish.
• Staircase handrails are solid white oak.

Stone, solid-surface and glass elements are specified separately on your quotation, by material and by supplier.

Timber and veneer are natural materials. Grain, tone and figure vary between boards and between batches, and colour can shift slightly with light over time. This is a property of the material, not a defect.

For made-to-order work we produce drawings for you to sign off. Production starts from the approved drawings. Please read them properly — once a piece is cut to an approved drawing, changing it means remaking it.

Made-to-order joinery typically takes three to five weeks from the day drawings are signed off, depending on the finish. Lacquer and PU paint take longer than laminate because of curing time. Installation is usually two to five days for a kitchen or a wardrobe run. Repairs are often the same week.

These are the normal ranges, and the specific lead time for your job is on your quotation. Delays caused by site conditions outside our control — building access, other trades not finished, power or water unavailable — move the dates accordingly, and we will tell you as soon as we know.

To install, we need access to the space on the agreed dates, a clear working area, and power and lighting. Where a building requires permits, NOCs or contractor registration, those are arranged with the building management; we will tell you what is needed and help where we can.

We take reasonable care of your property. We contain dust from cutting and removal and keep the disruptive part to as few days as possible.

If you want something changed once production or installation has begun, tell us as early as possible. We will confirm in writing what the change means for the price and the dates before we act on it. We will not carry out chargeable extra work and present you with the bill afterwards.

The deposit, the payment schedule and the warranty period that apply to your job are stated on your written quotation. They are agreed before work starts, in writing, so that both sides know where they stand.

If your quotation does not make any of these clear, ask us before you sign it. That is a reasonable thing to ask and we will answer it plainly.

Drawings and designs we produce for your project remain ours until the job is paid for in full. Photographs of completed work may be used in our portfolio; if you would prefer your home not to appear, tell us and we will not photograph it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable laws of the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute falls to the courts of Dubai.
